Word to the wise

I came across this while searching earlier for today's random shiny object on flickr. Figured I might as well post it.

No, Sally's hemorrhoids aren't enflamed. Sally is burning. Why is Sally burning? I'm pretty sure Billy the sick little bastard torched her.

Click on the image to see the whole image, including Billy trying to dispose of Sally's body.

If I had a dollar for every time I used the expression "Stop, drop and roll" I'd be rich. I swear, that's some sound advice.

But, seriously, what did he do with the body?

My word verf?

exurnag

Yes, my EX, UR a NAG.

I should probably take pictures of this shit, as you guys probably think I make it up.

Farthog out.

garrito said...

Didn't you know, Farthog, that I have word verf set to issue you hilarious and appropriate terms?

Just make sure if anyone DOES say "stop, drop, and roll" to you, there are no containers of lye nearby.

I'm guessing Billy still has the body in his mommy and daddy's basement, and has "dates" with it nightly.

Look, Garrito! He made a taquito!

HAHA! EX, UR a NAG

Farthog out.

garrito said...

Ha! He could be related.

EX UR a FARTHOG

jessica o said...

Ha! I played the Business Socks song for James. He already knew all about those guys and didn't share. Meanie.

garrito said...

The bastard. Hey, you just reminded me...it didn't occur to me earlier on Bev's blog, but Kristin Wiig was on an episode of Flight of the Conchords this season. Her character's names is Brahbrah (or something like that) and she has an epileptic dog. A must see.

Bev said...

Ooooh, Garritoffuti, that is like the perfect storm of FOTC episodes! I wish I'd seen it. Alas, I gave up HBO in lieu of Showtime. I think I'm ready to go back though - True Blood starts again next fall and I love me some crazy sexy vampire shows.

Aaaaanywho, about little Suzy Buttflame.... I got nuthin'. That looks like it smarts, but at least little Johnny the pyro was there to roll her in a rug and dump her body in a river somewhere. Good luck, that.

LOL @ Farthog! My word encriptions are never cool! Boo.

Samsmama said...

"Garritoffuti"....Overboard?????

jessica o said...

LOL Suzy Buttflame! Love it!

I had an epileptic dog once. It was freaky. And that totally made me laugh and wake up James (oops!).

Harmony said...

Yes Overboard...right?

Epileptic dog, reminded me of a show I had seen on a narcoleptic dog: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0h2nleWTwI (not the same show..but it's what I could find)

So, a couple of years ago I watched a documentary on a narcoleptic dog...it was hilarious (I am probably going to hell). I was laughing so hard..I was crying. I decided to share this visual joy with my sister in law and called to tell her to change the channel to the one that I was watching, there she was gasping at the sight of the poor dog passing out...with me on the other end of the phone OML (old man laughing) my ass off. She couldn't believe that I was laughing at such a helpless creature. It took sometime for her to see the humor in it...when a week later she called dying of laughter, telling me to change the channel...I get to the channel she instructed me to go to, and it's a documentary on kids with narcolepsy....what have I created?

I don't think Billy was trying to put out the fire; he was trying to cop a fee and START his own fire, if ya know what I mean ;)

HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND!

Bev said...

Eesh, overboard? Haters.

And I was gonna do "Garritofurkey" next. Damn.

Harmony said...

Haters? No way. Tofuttie where are you? Not Overboard?

Samsmama said...

Exactly...the movie. It was a question, not a statement. Crazy???

garrito said...

Bev: I have not yet seen True Blood. For some reason, the idiot programmers at HBO have not deemed it important to share on OnDemand.

SM (aka SW): Nah, there's no such thing as overboard here. We sink together, or we don't sink at all.

JO-FRO: In honor of your epileptic dog, here's a clip from that FOTC episode:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btG51Lmq6fs

Harmonica: I had a client years ago who was narcoleptic. It was the weirdest thing. We'd be on the phone, and she would suddenly go silent. I'd have to wait several minutes until she simply picked up where she left off. True story.

Cracy Stacie: I like your theory. Billy is clearly bad news!

garrito said...

Garritofurky, Tofuttie, banana nana nana fo futi, Djibouti.

jessica o said...

Thank you for the FOTC link! Hilarious.

verf: soism - n. the theory that populating every story with "so" makes your stories (and therefore you) more exciting.

Harmony said...

Oh shit I am a sufferer of Soism...Damn it! I use SO way to much. LOL

Verf: ingere....the gerbil?

Bev said...

OMG! I hang my head in SHAME!

Dude, we were not expecting that. AWESOME movie quote! Fucking awesome. I think it's quite possible that I just had a tiny orgasm. Huh.

Anyway, I love you all even more now!

garrito said...

[confused look on face] Movie? Quote? What'd I miss?

Bev said...

Overboard! My oversensitive mind thought Samsmama & Harmony thought I'd guilded the ol' lily with the Garrito-isms, when in fact, they are both AMAZING MOVIE QUOTERS! ;) And I missed it! Oh, for shame....

jessica o said...

Harmony - I too am a soist.

Harm, Bev, Sams - You are cracking me the fuck up. Overboard. I can't help it, I love Goldie Hawn. She's so freaking cute. (There I go with the so.)

garrito said...

Who in their right mind would ever want to see Overboard?! I loves me some Goldie (gimme Foul Play and Seems Like Old Times and day), and Kurt can do no wrong, but that flick looked like pure bleh. Devil's Smegma!

Yes, I think we are all practicing Soists.

Samsmama said...

Shame on you! Overboard was great! I always get a little teary at the end when he asks what he could ever get her that she doesn't already have?

"A little girl"...tears..

"I just...ate a bug".

Ha! Word verf? Molly O. A new follower, perhaps.

garrito said...

OK, I'll consider Netflixing it.

Oh, and I meant "any day" in my previous post, not "and day". Damn OCD.

Samsmama said...

"Swing Shift"...double excellence.

garrito said...

Oooh, forgot about that. Even Private Benjamin was watchable. But Bird on a Wire? Bird-cage lining is more like it. Wa-a-ay earlier, Butterflies Are Free was really good. She's adorable in it, as the hippie neighbor of a blind man.

Hey, I just noticed that Frank has another great FOTC clip (Bowie's In Space) posted on his blog:

http://ive-got-nothing-to-say.blogspot.com/2009/04/bowies-in-space.html

Samsmama said...

Private Benjamin was great! I just love her. Bird on a Wire, never wasted my time. Tango & Cash? No thanks.

Harmony said...

Yes Overboard is a great movie. It's a comedy romance...and the comedy IS funny.

My favorite weepy part:

"Katarina" *plunge*

"Arturo" *plunge*

Fucking love it.

garrito said...

OK, OK...I'll see it! Fiancée might even own it -- I know she has Green Card and So I Married An Axe Murderer.

Bev said...

I actually love Overboard, which is why I am hanging my head for not recognizing Toffuti!! Anyway, don't bother Netflixing it; that shit's on basic cable more often than not. And even edited, it's comedy gold! "My favorite part is when she goes, 'bluh-bluh-bluh-bluh....'"

I also love Private Benjamin and Seems Like Old Times: "He's not outside eating chicken, that's for sure!"

I am not familiar with Goldie's later work, aside from Death Becomes Her, which rocks.

Harmony said...

Bev ~ LoL, I love the "bluh" part too.

Also, parts of that movie was filmed in Fort Bragg /Mendocino Ca. No kidding about it being all over basic cable...everytime we watch it Ant points out the same "Fort Bragg" scene to me, as if I didn't already know. Why does he do that.

I had seen Goldie in HouseSitter with Steve Martin...love that guy!

Samsmama said...

How did I forget Protocol? Or, I love this one, Wildcats!

Harmony said...

Completely unrelated, but has anyone seen Running with Scissors?

Samsmama said...

Seen it, hated it.

Harmony said...

Really? I loved it. I like that dark dry humor though.

jessica o said...

I LOVED the book. I read it twice. Haven't had the nerve to see the movie. Don't want to ruin the visions dancing in my head.

Bev said...

OMG, Protocol! Loved that one!

Poor Garrito... we're takin' over his comments with Goldie love.

Harmony, I saw it and liked it, but doubt I'd watch it again. The book was better. I do like those kinds of dark movies, though, in addition to my obvious love of all things Goldie. :p

Samsmama said...

I LOVED the book and everything else he's written. I think that's why I hated the book. Jessica, don't see it. The visions in your head are much better!

Who's Garrito?

Oh, ya, right...

garrito said...

OMG, I've become a lurker on my own blog! (Cool.)

Well, at least Running With Scissors is very similar to Running On Fire.

And at least you're talking about Goldie. If you were talking about, say, the full moon in relation to PMS, well then, blood would spill. Wait, that didn't come out right.

Samsmama said...

Nope, didn't come out right at all.

Wow, Running with Scissors to Running on Fire...it's like the circle of life.

jessica o said...

hahaha! Have you been to Bev's blog today?

verf: aping (getting real words is no fun.) - v. copying, mimicking. Jessica O is totally aping MoFM and Samsmama's use of verf humor.

garrito said...

Huh, wha? Did Bev talk about the full moon and PMS? OK, guilty. Seemed like the Ya Ya Club was in session, so I quietly backed away lest I be set afire and rolled up in an old carpet.

"G"aping would have at least been funnier.

Samsmama said...

"Ya Ya", another movie I couldn't enjoy because of the book. Alright, I enjoyed it a little, but not as much.

Ahem, if you are a radio DJ in my are, you'd go for "r"aping.

Word verf: gretted.

As in, I "regretted" that joke.

Matter Of Fact Mommy said...

omg... 44 comments? you people make it im-fucking-possible to keep up!

but i love you all lots.

garrito said...

I'm as lost as you are, MoFM. They've been Gold(ie)-digging all day. Here's all you need to know: Overboard is the shit.

Glad you could make it!

btw, i loved Overboard. that, i caught... yet forgot to mention in my initial comment.

carry on. :)

UGH, it's me MoFM. sometimes i forget to sign out of this google account before commenting...

Bev said...

Damn it, G, you are an official member of the YaYa's... come on over and post about your lady trouble any time you want! :) I promise not to roll you up in a rug... unless you're into that kind of thing, that is. I know how you feel about being enveloped in carpet....

(damn, did I just say that? I need to quit this bitch)

word verif: candba: Candba me love!

jessica o said...

#1 MoFM - we know your nay-ame!

#2 In the spirit of full moon PMS moments I cried like a baby to every James Taylor song on Harpoon today. Stupid Oprah.

garrito said...

Thanks, Bev, I'll definitely get my ya-ya out. Wait, I mean...

Hey, know what'd be cool? A blog dedicated to people commenting on their word verif. And that's it. Hmmm...

Anonymous said...

is it taken?

also? Baahahaha, my fucking word verf = pects. AWESOME.

garrito said...
